Vegetable Beef Soup

Maintaining a healthy diet is important for your dental health. We have a delicious recipe to help you stay healthy and happy.


1 lb. Top Round Steak (minced)
3 carrots
½ head small cabbage
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 stalks celery
1-32oz low sodium beef broth
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
3-4 medium potatoes diced
Salt & pepper

1. Use a Food Processor to mince the steak.  Add it to a large pot with 2 Tablespoons olive oil and brown.
2. In the Food Processor, mince the vegetables adding them one by one.
3. Add the vegetable mixture to the pot with the meat sauté for a few minutes.
4. Then, add beef broth and crushed tomatoes.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Finally, add diced potatoes and cook until potatoes are done and soup has cooked about one hour.

(Hint:  Cut meat and vegetables into small pieces before you mince them in the food processor.)
