We enjoy sharing healthy recipes with you as a way to maintain your oral health. Today we are sharing a lettuce wrap recipe.

Lettuce Wraps

Here is what you need:

1 tbsp. olive oil or peanut oil
1 lb. ground meta (beef, turkey, or chicken)
1-2 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 cup green onions, sliced
1 can water chestnuts, finely diced
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 head of lettuce, any kind


  1. Brown the ground meat in a pan with the oil.
  2. As the meat begins to turn brown, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the green onions, water chestnuts, and hoisin sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat, add the sesame oil, stir and serve with the lettuce.
  5. Enjoy!
