Thank You For Calling Burkhart Customer Service: Glennda Phillips

This week I will be introducing you to Glennda Phillips. Glennda has been working here at Burkhart for 3 1/2 years. She has three children and enjoys living a fun filled life! I had an opportunity to ask Glennda a little bit about herself and am excited to share my findings with you!

Q: Glennda, will you tell us a little bit about yourself?

A: Wow… what to say?  I’ve spent the last 17 years in Washington with my husband and 3 kids.  I like to travel and especially enjoy staying in the Old Lodges of our National Parks System.  Most of my time is spent putting out fires and keeping track of 3 teenagers, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I enjoy indulging in a nice glass of wine and a few good chocolates, which always pairs well, with my favorite seafood or Italian dish.

Q: Describe yourself in one word.

A: Fun-loving…. Is that one word?

Q: Why did you choose Fun-loving?

A: I enjoy laughing and doing things that make me smile.  Being spontaneous and unpredictable are also high on my list. I’m all about living a stress free lifestyle!

Q: How does your experience contribute to an excellent customer experience?

A: In a previous life… I was a public contact person with a major airline, which at times, could be very high stress in a fast moving atmosphere.  Working for Burkhart allows me the time to appreciate and enjoy every customer and really listen to their story and connect in a much more personal way.

Q: What excites you about coming into work?

A: I look forward to talking with our customers and account managers, about their day and what they enjoy.

Q: How do you relax?

A: In the summer, it’s relaxing in our backyard with the kids, just laughing and sharing our day.

I also enjoy reading a good book, or on nice days, long rides on the Harley.
